So-called 'excellent' tourist info? More like a treasure hunt. And the fans? Please, I expected a climate control room, not a hot box. I thought I'd at least get an upgrade for the pain, but apparently not. Almost wrote a glowing review, but I just couldn’t!

The room offering a direct view of the Rhine created a serene atmosphere, complementing the relaxing ambience of the riverside dining area. Breakfast featured a delightful selection, especially the organic jams which enhanced the experience. While the staff was mostly friendly and helpful, one encounter with a slightly grumpy chef was off-putting, especially with the assumptions made regarding our cooking devices. Additionally, the lack of kid-friendly amenities could be improved for families with children.

We enjoyed exploring the beautiful UNESCO heritage sites nearby, making this trip memorable. With our small baby, the spacious room was a welcome surprise, and the breakfast selection, especially the riverside pizza, was a hit with everyone.

My children wished there were more kid-friendly amenities.

The hotel is well positioned for exploring Boppard with a lovely view over the Rhine. My upper-level room offered a town view and appeared recently refurbished, clean, and tidy. The staff were friendly and provided helpful advice on parking, which is conveniently located just a ten-minute walk along the river. Breakfast featured a good selection that I appreciated during my stay.

No significant downsides were encountered during my stay.
